Kenneth Wayne “Kenny” Porch, 56, died Thursday, June 11, 2020.

Kenny was a native of Northampton County, the son of the late Richard Henry Porch and Hazel Carter Grissom. 

Kenny was a retired mechanic, and with his knowledge of welding and fabricating, loved to tinker and create things. He loved to travel, especially on those old gravel roads in the mountains. Most of all he loved and cared for his family unconditionally. 

Kenny was a great man in a lot of people’s lives, and made lots of memories and laughter through the years.

Kenny is survived by his loving wife; Donna Z. Porch, sons Christopher Porch and his husband Joey of Orlando Fla., Travis Porch and his fiancée Candice, his daughter; Danielle Porch, both of Gaston, grandchildren, Baylee, Rilee, and   Travis Jr “Littleman.”

The family will receive friends at Kenny and Donna’s home, 292 Porch Drive, Gaston, NC, on Monday June 15, 2020 from 11:00AM until 7:00 PM. The family will have a Memorial Service at a later date.
