It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Katherine Louise Fast, 68, on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.
Kathy was born in Norfolk, Virginia, on July 9, 1958. She was a woman who put her heart into everything she did, always giving her best and taking pride in her work. No matter what life brought her way, she faced it with strength and determination, never allowing her challenges to take away her desire to keep going. She had a heart for helping others, and even through her own struggles, she continued to show the strength, kindness, and perseverance that made her so special.

Kathy was a woman of many passions. She loved cooking, especially making her famous casserole that everyone loved. She enjoyed shopping with her sister, Diane, crocheting, crafting, doing Diamond Art, and she was an avid Temu shopper! You could often find her on Facebook Live, helping her Facebook friends keep track of winners, numbers, and all the little details.
Kathy was preceded in death by her longtime partner, husband, and best friend, Ronnie “Buddy” Autry; her beloved son, James Fisher; her father, Arthur Ray; her stepfather, Charles Neal; and her sweet Chihuahua fur baby and faithful companion, Diamond. She is now reunited with those she loved and holds dear, resting peacefully in their loving presence once again.
Kathy leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory. She is survived by her mother, Sandra Neal; her sisters, Diane Case and her husband, Richard; Penny Briggs and her husband, Troy; and Rachell Grassmen and her husband, Terry.
