Johnnie Willis Lassiter, 85, formerly of Roanoke Rapids, NC, died Thursday, December 17, 2020, in Winterville, NC.

Mr. Lassiter, was born in Bertie County, NC the son of the late James Washington Lassiter and Pattie Hall Lassiter. He was a retired truck driver, with over 35 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Hall Lassiter.

Surviving are: his daughter, Donna Arp of Winterville, NC and Kim Dickens and her husband Craig of Roanoke Rapids, NC; two sisters Patty Mae Johnson and her husband John of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Linda Williams and her husband Woody of Henrico, NC; two brothers Edmond Lassiter of Wadesboro, NC and Earl Lassiter of Windsor, VA; four grandchildren, Jonathan Arp of Winterville, NC, Kendall Rightmyer of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Bryan Arp of Greenville, NC and Kyle Dickens of Wendell, NC; eight great grandchildren, Haley Arp, Hunter Arp and Tucker Arp of Winterville, NC, Bryce Arp and Braye Arp both of Greenville, NC, Kade Rightmyer and Beck Rightmyer both of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Ace Dickens of Wendell, NC.

Funeral services will be held at Victory Baptist Church, Roanoke Rapids, NC Saturday, December 19, 2020, at 11:30 AM, with Rev. Jeremy Kobernat officiating. Interment will follow in Crestview Memorial Cemetery.

The Family will receive at Victory Baptist Church, for one hour prior to the service.
