Lindsey Marie Norton, 34, died Friday, April 2, 2021, at Vidant North Hospital.

Lindsey is the daughter of Jack and Lisa Norton, and the granddaughter of the late Tinker and Honey Norton, and Carter Neal and Lucille Clements. In addition to her grandparents, Lindsey was also preceded in death by an aunt, Sharon Kay Rose.

Lindsey was a graduate of Roanoke Rapids High School. She loved to take rides in the car with her family, she loved music, and she loved her dogs Chip and Smokey, but mainly she loved her family.

In addition to her loving parents, Jack and Lisa, Lindsey is survived by her devoted brother; Robert Norton of Gaston, her uncles; Tinker and James Norton of Gaston, George Norton and his wife Ruth of Roanoke Rapids, and Shawn Rose of Weldon, her aunts, Emily N. Spence of Gaston and Pam N. Hall and her husband Richard also of Gaston, Dianne Norton of Roanoke Rapids,  very special friends; Leisha and Bryan Harris, Debbie and Craig Pleasant and family, Stanley and Nina Hancock,  Pete and Sandra Pearcey and family, Jasmine King, Chris and Melody Moseley, and many other cousins and relatives. 

The family would like to thank the Vidant North ER, ICU, and 5th Floor nurses and staff for their care and kindness.

The family will receive friends Monday, April 5, 2021 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Wrenn Clarke and Hagan Funeral and Cremation Service.

Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Cedarwood Cemetery with Butch Moseley officiating.
