Katherine Waynick Bastian, 89, of Weldon, NC died Saturday, January 8, 2022, at her residence.

Mrs. Bastian, was born in Guilford County, NC the daughter of the late Robert Parker Waynick and Lena Katherine Mackie Waynick. She was a graduate of Meredith College. 

She was the widow of Glenn F. Bastian and a former teacher, at the Hewlett School in Long Island, NY.

Mrs. Bastian, is survived by a sister Martha Allen Myrick of Weldon, NC and a half brother Robert P. Foxworth of Greensboro, NC.

Services will be held at a later date.
