Darnell Phine Acree Turner, 80, of Jackson passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022 in Northampton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Ms. Turner was born in Mecklenburg County, Virginia, the daughter of the late Elizabeth Emory Acree and John Samuel Acree.  She was also preceded in death by her daughter Michelle Smith Clay Massey.

Surviving include her brother John Acree (Linda) of Gaston, and her three grandchildren:  Keely Rowe, Kirsty Clay, and Jacob Calhoun.  

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 13th, from 6-8 p.m. at 801 Carolina St., Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870 ( home of her granddaughter)
