Charles “Buckie” Eugene Lynch, 70, of Roanoke Rapids, NC, died Sunday, January 27, 2019, at Signature Healthcare of Roanoke Rapids.

Charles was born in Roanoke Rapids, NC, the son of the late Charlie Lynch and Melba Snyder Lynch.

Charles graduated from Gaston High School in 1966. He was a U.S. Army, Vietnam War veteran and operated heating and air conditioning businesses in several locations.

Recently he spent most of his time doing odd jobs, helping others and being Mr. Fix-it.

In his spare time he enjoyed county music and playing his guitars.

Charles is survived by: his life partner, Linda L. Foster; four sons, Chad Lynch of Apex, NC, Blake Lynch of Virginia Beach, VA, Dirk Lynch of Exmore, VA and Cody Lynch of Washington, DC; a brother, Andrew Lynch of Greenville, NC; several cousins; and his beloved pets, puppy, Bonnie and kitty, Michael.

The family will receive at Wrenn Clarke & Hagan Funeral and Cremation Service, Wednesday, January 30, 2019, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
