Post hame Jackets head coach Mark Snead stated, "I am really proud of this team and how everyone contributed to the win.  We had excellent pitching from Braxton and Jon tonight.  And after a slow start offensively we really came around in the later innings. After leaving the bases loaded in both of the first two innings without scoring, we made some adjustments at the plate and we started putting together some strong at-bats.  We improved from our first game and now we have to keep improving each time out."

RRHS improves to 2-0 overall and in the Northern Carolina Conference.  The next game for the Yellow Jackets will be on Tuesday May 4 when they host Louisburg at Doyle Field.  Game time is set for 6pm.
