The Roanoke Rapids High School Baseball team picked up a big conference win at home against Northern Nash on Tuesday night by a 15-4 score.

Shep Fowler picked up the win as he pitched the complete game striking out 10 batters.

The Yellow Jacket offense had all nine starters produce at least one hit.  Collin Elias led the attack with 3 hits.  Austin Geary, Jon Temple, Drew Williams, Wil White, and Matthew MacNichol each had 2 hits while Maddox Bullock, Davis Liverman, and Jackson Midgette had 1 hit apiece.

Coach Mark Snead stated, "This was a great bounce back win for us.  We talked about how you learn more from failure than you do success after our loss at Franklinton.  Great teams learn from their failures, use them to get better, and respond accordingly.  That is what we did tonight.  Shep pitched a great game and the offense really came alive from top to bottom.  I am really proud of how the team responded and played tonight."

RRHS is now 3-1 overall and 2-1 in The Big East Conference.
