Randolph-Macon Women's Basketball center Kelly Williams (Garysburg, N.C. / Halifax Academy) was named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the second time in 2019-2020, it was announced Monday afternoon.

The senior had a tremendous week, which included a pair of double-doubles and led the Yellow Jackets in scoring and rebounding in a resounding conference victory Saturday against Washington and Lee, then atop the ODAC standings.

Williams scored 17 points and rebounded 13 times in the week's opener against non-conference foe St. Mary's. In what was her 13th double-double of the year, Williams also became the lone occupant of the third spot in the program's all-time career scoring list. She went into the game tied with Katie Anderson with 1,727 points. The Yellow Jackets won 70-54.

The Garysburg, N.C. native then exploded for 22 points and 18 rebounds against the Generals over the weekend. Randolph-Macon got the upset of the league-leaders with the help of Williams, who also dished out two assists, made two steals and a pair of blocks. Fellow senior Michal Ross (Glen Allen, Va. / Glen Allen) and junior Becca Arrington (Amelia, Va. / Amelia Academy) scored 10 and 16 points respectively as well to help the Yellow Jackets get the 71-56 victory, closing the gap between the Yellow Jackets and top of the league table.  With R-MC's win, Bridgewater surpassed W&L to become the league's top team. The double-double on Saturday was Williams' 14th of the season.

Williams was named the ODAC Player of the Week back on January 6 after a pair of games where she totaled 38 points and 20 rebounds. Cumulatively this week, Williams collected 39 points and 31 rebounds. It's the 16th ODAC Player of the Week nod of her career.

The Yellow Jackets return to Crenshaw Gym tomorrow night at 7:00 PM against Randolph.
