The team is administered by the College Sports Information Directors and is selected by collegiate athletic communications professionals from across District 5, which encompasses 12 states and Puerto Rico. All five member of this year's team, including Williams, checked in with GPA's above 3.80. Williams will now move on to be a nominee for the Academic All-American squad, selected across all eight Districts.
