The Chaloner Middle School Yellow Jackets opened their 2022-23 season of Wednesday afternoon on the road against Gaston Middle.

Both the girls and boys team earned the win.

The Chaloner boys won 43-10.

Chaloner leading scorers were: AJ Robert with 19 points, Jessie Duke with 5 points, Khamorae Wood with 4 points, Wes Jenkins with 4 points, Takuan Harris with 4 points, Nazir Yellorday with 3 points, BJ Davis with 3 points and Ramaj Hill with 2 points. 

The Boys are 1-0 (1-0 Confernce Play)

Chaloner girls won aswell 37-12.

Chaloner leading scorers were:  Sofie Wade with 14 points, Zoey Thomas with 12 points, Zayenne Bertus had 6 points.
