The undefeated Chaloner Middle School Yellow Jackets football team claimed the Roanoke Middle School Athletic Association Conference championship this season, beating Northampton County 20-12.

The title game was played on November 9.

The Jackets compiled an 8-0 record.

“I am so proud of this team,” coach Kirk Wynne said. “They have really grown during this season and came together as a group. We have several players that will move on to high school next year and I will miss them, but surely look forward to seeing what they do in the future.”

Also serving on the Yellow Jacket coaching staff are Sean McClafferty, Steve Milligan, Aron Crum, and Tommy Jones.
