The Halifax Academy Lady Vikings softball team closed their 2018-19 regular season out this past Thursday on the road beating Parrott Academy 6-3 and host the 1st round of the NCISAA State Playoffs at home Tuesday May 14th at 4PM.

In Thursdays game, Ashlyn Cooke pitched all 7 innings for the Lady Vikings with eight strikeous, two walks and allowing only three hits.

At the plate for Halifax Academy, Morgan Hudomint had a single, Berkley Garner had a single and a walk, Ashton Garner had a single and a double, Ashlyn Cooke had a double and 2 singles, 2 RBI, Emerson Poole had 4 singles and 3 RBI's, and Tara Simmons had 2 singles and 1 RBI.
