The four RBI day for Karlee Hammack leads the Roanoke Rapids Varsity Yellow Jackets Past Granville Central last week in softball.

Lady Jackets Karlee Hammack would not be denied at the plate when runners were on base this past Wednesday, driving in four on two hits to lead Roanoke Rapids Varsity Yellow Jackets past Granville Central 18-1.  Hammack drove in runs on a single in the second and a double in the fifth.

Logan Storey got the win for Varsity Lady Yellow Jackets. Storey went two innings, allowing zero runs on two hits and striking out two. Kalicca Williams threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.

The Lady Yellow Jackets racked up 14 hits on the day. Hammack, Williams, and Lauren Garner all collected multiple hits for Roanoke Rapids. Garner, Williams, and Hammack each managed two hits to lead Roanoke Rapids.

Roanoke Rapids Varsity Yellow Jackets didn't commit a single error in the field. Riley Landen had five chances in the field, the most on the team.

Roanoke Rapids Varsity Yellow Jackets tore up the base paths, as three players stole at least two bases. Williams led the way with two. Granville Central totaled seven hits in the game. 

Roanoke Rapids JV Lady Yellow Jackets travel to Southern Nash for a double header Monday while the Varsity Jackets host Granville Central Wednesday at 6PM.
