The Halifax Academy Lady Vikings defeated Lawrence Academy Tuesday night on the road 9-1.

Ashlyn Cooke pitched all 7 innings for the Lady Vikings with 6 K’s, 1 walk, 3 hits.

At the plate for the Lady Vikings:

Morgan Hudomint had 4 singles 1 RBI

Ashton Garner 2 singles 1 RBI

Tara Simmons 2 singles, 2 RBI’s

Hayden Barlow had 2 singles

Ashton Knight and Emerson Poole had a single each while Berkley Garner added an RBI

Halifax Academy improves to 6-1 overall and travel to Rocky Mount Academy Friday.
