Kalissa Williams threw a shutout to lead the Roanoke Rapids Lady Yellow Jackets past Louisburg 10-0 on Tuesday.

Roanoke Rapids tallied three runs in the sixth inning. Karlee Hammack and Sue Odom each drove in runs during the inning.

A single in the fourth inning was a positive for Louisburg.

Williams was credited with the victory for Roanoke Rapids. The ace went six innings, allowing zero runs on two hits, striking out 11 and walking zero.

Roanoke Rapids scattered eight hits in the game. Logan Storey and Odom each collected multiple hits for Roanoke Rapids. Odom and Storey all had two hits to lead the Lady Yellow Jackets.

Roanoke Rapids Lady Yellow Jackets was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Alexia Coley made the most plays with 11.

The Lady Yellow Jackets remain perfect with a 8-0 overall record and host the Bunn Wildcats Thursday at home.
