Halifax Arcady  hosted Lawrence Academy Monday at Viking field.

Both teams were strong in the circle Monday, but Halifax Academy Varsity Vikings defeated Lawrence Academy 3-1.

Ashlyn Cooke allowed just five hits to Lawrence Academy.

In the first inning, Halifax Academy Varsity Vikings got their offense started. Karson Ricks drew a walk, scoring one run.

Cooke earned the victory in the pitcher's circle for Halifax Academy Varsity Vikings. The bulldog surrendered one run on five hits over seven innings, striking out eight. 

Maddie Bethel went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Halifax Academy Varsity Vikings in hits.
