Chaloner Middle School Lady Yellow Jackets beat the Halifax Academy Lady Vikings Friday at Halifax 5-2.

Candence Ball was the winning pitcher for Chaloner. The fireballer surrendered two runs on four hits over seven innings, striking out 11. Payton Odom took the loss for Halifax Academy. The righty lasted seven innings, allowing six hits and five runs while striking out ten and walking one.

Teagan Hamill, Adalyn Hudson, Scarlett Harris, and Karson Ricks each collected one hit to lead Halifax. Chaloner scattered six hits in the game. Madelyn Bell and Chasity Shaw all had multiple hits for Chaloner.
