The Halifax Academy Lady Vikings softball team (14-3) has earned to #1 seed in the 2023 NCISAA 1A State Softball Championship bracket.

The Lady Vikings #1 seed gives them a first round bye and on Tuesday May 16th will host the May 12th #4 seed Cape Fear Christian Academy vs #5 seed Albemarle School winner.

The winner of May 16th will then play the best two of three for the NCISAA 1A State Championship at NC Wesleyan college in Rocky Mount May 19/20.
