Man charged in Thursday sexual assault

A Roanoke Rapids man was charged Thursday in an alleged sexual assault of an underage girl.

Warrants have been issued for three more people in the June 22 shooting death of Jarshamel Cambridge, the Halifax County Sheriff's Office reported this afternoon.

Any Northwest Halifax High or William R. Davie Middle school athlete that wish a physical, they will be give Saturday.
