A man expected to surrender today in the murder of Jarshamel Cambridge did so with his attorney present.

Jequan Kimble's surrender marks the second person today to give themselves up to face charges in the June 22 murder in Enfield. Kenneth Wescott surrendered prior to Kimble.

Halifax County Sheriff Wes Tripp said the 20-year-old Enfield man was charged with murder and jailed without the opportunity for bond.

He will have a first court appearance Friday.

The sheriff's office is still looking for Dexter Taylor Jr. and Matthew Simms.

Tripp said Taylor tends to travel between Rocky Mount and Enfield and tips on his whereabouts include him being inside the surrounding area as well as outside.

The same applies to Simms, the sheriff said.
