Weldon PD seeks clues in attempted ABC break-in

Weldon police are investigating the attempted breaking and entering of the ABC store on West Third Street which occurred shortly before 11:30 p.m. Sunday.

According to a preliminary report on the matter, two people described as black males came around from the back of the building and attempted to break in by using a brick to smash the door.

Entry was not gained but the door was damaged.

The men, who had their faces covered, ran toward the back of the building after breaking the glass.
