The Enfield Police Department reported the following, according to Chief Tyree Davis:

On Monday around 3:30 p.m., Lieutenant Mac Wiggins arrested Danny Earl Silver, 56, of Enfield, for breaking and entering of a motor vehicle, misdemeanor larceny, and attempted breaking and entering of a motor vehicle.

Detective Willie Murphy Jr. led the investigation after he received a report of a vehicle break-in where items were missing on Overstreet Drive.

Personal surveillance cameras and witnesses aided in the investigation to charge Silver for the break-in.

Silver was jailed under $2,500 bond and is scheduled for court on March 7.

More charges will be obtained on Silver in other pending reports.

On Saturday Detective Graham Page arrested Nikita Rudd on three outstanding orders for arrest.

She failed to appear in district court on charges of intoxicated and disruptive behavior, simple assault, and second-degree trespassing.

She was processed at the magistrates office and received a $2,600 bond.

On February 23 around 11:37 p.m., Officer Chris Little stopped a vehicle in which he recognized the driver, Dedrick Montrell Rudd, of Enfield, to be unlicensed due to a pending DWI.

Little determined Rudd was impaired and placed him under arrest.

Subsequent to testing, Rudd had a Breath Alcohol Content of .15.

Probable cause was found for DWI and driving while license revoked based on impairment.

He received a custody release and has a court date of March 19.

On February 22 around 9:40 p.m., Little and Corporal Shatel Coates stopped a vehicle on South Dennis Street for a motor vehicle violation.

During the investigation, Little determined the driver, Calvin Williams, of Enfield, was intoxicated and driving without a license.

Throughout the arrest, Williams was argumentative and belligerent.

Williams blew a .19 and refused further testing.

Williams also fought with Little during processing and broke a chair in the DWI screening room in Halifax.

Williams was charged with DWI, driving while license revoked based on impairment, assault on a government official, resisting a public officer, communicating threats, intoxicated and disruptive behavior, injury to personal property, drive vehicle while registration plate not displayed, unregistered motor vehicle, and operating a vehicle with no insurance.

Davis said approximately two weeks ago the license plate on Williams’ vehicle was seized due to a DMV pickup order.
