Halifax Community College nursing students are giving the shots — a PDF of the flyer with pertinent information is attached at the end of this story — said Dia Denton, assistant Halifax County manager.
Since beginning this morning, traffic to the clinic has been brisk, officials said.
The Reverend Bob Bowser was one of the people who took advantage of the free shot and has been getting his every year. “Yes, sir,” he said, “as long as the Lord allows me.”
Fire Station 2 is located at 638 Highway 125.
