A Roanoke Rapids man was arrested Tuesday for a September 30 breaking and entering on Ranch Road.

Undisclosed items were stolen, according to Major Scott Hall of the Halifax County Sheriff's Office.

Investigation by Deputy Jeff Allen led to the arrest of Justin Roger Nowell, 29. He was charged with breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, two counts of possession of stolen property and obtaining property by false pretense.

He was jailed on $2,500 secured bond and has an October 9 court date.

Investigation continues with the possibility of an additional arrest, Hall said.
