The current Little Caesar's, located in the same shopping center, will close.
It will be a 1,600-square feet building with a drive-through.
Roanoke Rapids Planning and Development Director Kelly Lasky said this morning the building plans are currently under review. No building timeframe has been stated.
Meanwhile, the city has approved the building permit for the new Petsense, which will occupy the former Blockbuster building. “It seems like they're moving ahead pretty quickly,” Lasky said.
She said Petsense will do a significant up-fit of the Blockbuster building to sell not only pet supplies, but offer pet grooming and washing.
