One occurred in the 800 block and the other occurred in the 700 block, according to Captain James Avens.
Personal items were taken.
One could have possibly occurred in the evening Tuesday while the other may have occurred in the morning.
Both houses were occupied. It is unclear if the break-ins are related, he said.
Avens declined to immediately give descriptions of the items taken.
The police department does not currently have a suspect description.
