The Halifax Resolves Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution honored a longtime officer for his community policing efforts during Tuesday’s city council meeting.
A new era began in the Roanoke Rapids Police Department today as Chuck Hasty was sworn in as the new chief and Andy Jackson was sworn in as deputy chief.
Chuck Hasty, currently a captain with the Northampton County Sheriff's Office, has been named police chief of Roanoke Rapids.
