The third annual Arts on the Avenue was held this evening between the 900 and 1100 blocks of Roanoke Avenue.
Thursday’s Arts on the Avenue will showcase the work of some 20 artists, photographers, singers and musicians as well as give the public a view of the 1026 Roanoke Avenue green space.
The opening of the green space at 1026 Roanoke Avenue will coincide with the Halifax County Arts Council’s Arts on the Avenue annual event in May.
With the success of the premier event last year, Arts on the Avenue returns Thursday.
Arts on the Avenue was held under a blue sky today in the 1000 block of Roanoke Avenue.
A collaborative effort between Main Street Roanoke Rapids and the Halifax County Arts Council Thursday will give people a chance to see the creative side of the Roanoke Valley through art, photos and music.
