The Roanoke Rapids Police Department reported the following, according to Chief Chuck Hasty:
A Gaston man was arrested today in the murder of a 45-year-old Pleasant Hill man on Monroe Street in Roanoke Rapids Saturday night.
Two people have been arrested for the larceny of tires and rims from a vehicle at a local car dealership last month.
