Halifax County is working on a Comprehensive Land Use and Recreation Plan to address and guide growth and development for the county. 

Its focus is on the areas within the county’s jurisdiction and along the edges of town limits. 

To create this plan, Halifax County is hosting three public visioning workshops in December to hear from residents and community members. The meeting dates, times, and locations are shown in the lead graphic of this notice.

Everyone is welcome to attend one or more of these meetings. “We want to hear from you how we should continue to shape Halifax County over the next two decades.”
