Halifax County is now accepting applications for the 2024 funding cycle of the Recreation Partners Program. 

The Halifax County Board of Commissioners has allocated $30,000 to be awarded in grant funds for recreation programs throughout the county. 

Organizations promoting programs to increase recreation throughout the county are invited to submit an application for funding.

Applications are available from the Halifax County Manager’s Office by calling 252-583-1131, via this link, or by email request to Christina Wells, deputy county manager, at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

The deadline for receipt of applications is 5 p.m. on Friday, March 22.

Applications will be accepted via email or mail.
