One man is in custody and another who is considered armed and dangerous is sought following a shooting Saturday morning at Quiet Circle outside Roanoke Rapids.

A man who allegedly fled Thursday after being caught inside a West Tenth Street home following a breaking and entering was arrested soon after the call.

There, he will begin work on his dissertation, "The Emergence of Youth Political Activism and Youth Culture in Egypt, 1892-1919."
