The third annual Halifax County Genealogy Symposium will be held Friday at the Halifax County Library located at 33 South Granville Street in Halifax.
The day begins with registration from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and the welcome from host Steven Green will be from 9 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.
It is a day of talks, workshops, and networking opportunities.
There will be discussions of new research techniques, how to navigate online databases, and opportunities to connect with fellow researchers.
