An hour and a half checking station on Country Club Road Friday night saw results, the Weldon Police Department said Sunday.
Sergeant Will Shaw said 17 citations were given. There were two arrests made and two wanted people caught.
Weldon was assisted by Littleton, Roanoke Rapids and Jackson police along with the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office.
Shaw also thanked the Weldon Fire Department for its assistance
