Charges are expected to be filed after two men were stabbed in the Logan’s parking lot Thursday night.

One man was released from the hospital and another was there throughout the early morning hours. The man who was still in the hospital is OK, Captain Andy Jackson said.

Roanoke Rapids police received the call around 10:45 and discovered a 25-year-old Gastonia man and a 29-year-old man from Kingsport, Tennessee were stabbed with a knife. Jackson declined to release the names of the victims.

The men were treated for multiple stab wounds. The men were stabbed around the face, side and arms.

The fight apparently started over gestures made between two people, Jackson said. “Everyone described it as a mutual misunderstanding.”
