More arrests were made Wednesday in an April breaking and entering, including the gold and silver buyer who allegedly bought merchandise stolen in the crime.
This brings the arrest total to four in the crime.
Detective R. Somogyi launched further investigation into the breaking and entering, which occurred in the Littleton area.

Jones
That investigation led to the arrest of Gene Tyler Jones Sr., the father of one of the suspects, for selling the stolen jewelry to Frank Clary Jr. of Roanoke Rapids.

Clary
Clary, 64, according to Somogyi, ran an ad in the local newspaper that he was buying gold and silver.
This led to he and Jones being charged with possession of stolen goods and also led to Clary being charged with a precious metal business permit violation.
Somogyi explained that Clary did not have a permit to be in that business.
“This is just another case where we’re going to pursue those who break into homes and businesses and those who possess stolen goods,” Somogyi said. “If you can reduce the market and demand maybe we can reduce the thefts.”
Somogyi said if someone suspects items are stolen they should notify law enforcement otherwise they risk being charged.
Jones, 50, received a $10,000 bond while Clary received a $3,000 bond.
They both have September 19 court dates.
