The trend line for the novel coronavirus in Halifax County continues to rise, the health system said in its update this afternoon.
System Director Bruce Robistow said, “ … Our Trend continues to Rise, reaching our highest number of positives for the third time. This spike should be taken very seriously. Although our numbers may be small, an increasing trend is a good indicator of the fact that more tests are being performed, and that we cannot forget the importance of following the executive orders and recommendations.”
He said residents should continue to practice appropriate social distancing, handwashing, respiratory hygiene, and wearing facial coverings when out in public.
