Here are the known closings and delays for Thursday:

The campus of Halifax Community College will be closed.

Although the campus will be closed, virtual and online classes will continue at their normal scheduled times.

The campus plans to resume full operations on Friday. 

The event with Congressman G.K. Butterfield has been canceled for Thursday at 11 a.m., and is rescheduled for Monday, February 22 at 9 a.m. via Zoom.

The following courts for Halifax and Northampton Counties have been placed on a two-hour weather delay:

Other postponements, closings and delays

Due to the anticipated inclement weather, the February Weldon City Schools Board of Education meeting scheduled for Thursday evening will be postponed.

Cornerstone Christian School is closed.

Rural Health Group is on a two-hour delay.

All Northampton County schools staff will work remotely and all buildings will be closed.

There will be no meal delivery.
