In its last report for the month of February, the Halifax County Health Department reported one additional death related to the novel coronavirus.

The latest related death brings the total to 97 in Halifax County.

The health department today also added 20 positive cases of the virus to its data. That brings the total cumulative positives since March to 4,992.

Northampton County

The health department reported today there have been 1,645 total positive cases of which 1,569 have recovered. There are 10 active cases. There have been 66 related deaths.
