The Halifax County Health Department today added an additional death related to COVID-19 to its data.

The latest death related to the virus brings the total to 111.

The health department also added six new positive cases, bringing the cumulative total since March of last year to 5,558.

In Northampton County the health department reported today there have been 1,842 total positive cases of which 1,756 have recovered. There are 17 active cases. There have been 69 related deaths.
