Four new positive cases of COVID-19 were added to the Halifax County Health Department’s data today.

Since March of last year there have been 5,631 total positive cases. There have been 112 related deaths.

A first dose COVID-19 Pfizer vaccination clinic will be offered by the Halifax County Health Department to anyone 12 and older by online registration.

The clinic will be at the 700 building of Halifax Community College from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 1.

Second dose Pfizer vaccines will be offered to anyone 12 and older at HCC on June 8 from  noon to 7 p.m.

Use the main college entrance.

Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Appointments are preferred however, walk-ups are accepted.

The health department continues to offer Moderna and Pfizer vaccines every Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at its clinic on 19 North Dobbs Street in Halifax.
