The annual Christmas For Kids shopping spree at Walmart served 36 children this morning.
The event is sponsored by the Roanoke Rapids Police Club while law enforcement from around the area, Distinguished Young Women of the Roanoke Valley, Roanoke Rapids Fire Department and other community volunteers assisted taking the children shopping.
