Gaston Youth will hold Earth Day events on April 23 from 10 a.m. to noon.

Events will be held simultaneously at Edwards Beach in Henrico, Dwight Hall Park in Gaston, the former Garysburg Elementary School near town hall, The Cultural and Wellness Center in Jackson, and on Main Street in Scotland Neck. 

Children will plant flowers and vegetables to take home with them. They will also play games.

The event is free.
