The NC Bourbon & Spirits Festival is set to take place on the banks of the Roanoke River in Weldon on September 30.
The event will feature distilleries from across the state, food vendors, crafters, a mechanical bull riding, ax-throwing, line dance lessons, corn hole, and other activities.
The festival gates open at 3 p.m., and DJ Dank Williams will keep the music going all day. Maggie Baugh goes on stage at 6 p.m. followed by Ward Davis at 7:30 p.m. and around 9 p.m. Whitey Morgan & the 78's will take the stage.
This lineup will feature traditional and modern country music.

Apart from the spirits and food, the festival will have a host of activities attendees can participate in as a part of their ticket purchase.
