The Roanoke Rapids Police Department reported the following, to Detective Sergeant Morgan Worrell:
On Tuesday officers responded to Gordon Drive after receiving a report of a vehicle that had been damaged in a hit and run at a local business.

Officers learned a woman in a black Jeep Cherokee backed into the victim’s vehicle and drove away around noon.
Electrical box
On June 17 around 9 p.m. a person tampered with an electrical box and wires at a business on East Tenth Street.
The male suspect drove away from the scene in what appears to be a 1999 to 2002 Silverado or Sierra.

The man may have sustained burns on his hands.
