The North Carolina Bourbon & Spirits Festival was held at Weldon Mills Theatre beginning Saturday afternoon and going into the evening.
Distillers from around the state showcased their products as craft vendors showcased and sold their wares.
Mechanical bulls, cornhole and ax-throwing, along with food trucks were part of the day in the first event sponsored by Weldon Mills Distillery, the new owners of the former Roanoke Rapids Theatre.
