Health department begins Moderna COVID vaccines Tuesday

The Halifax County Health Department Tuesday will begin providing Moderna 2023-2024 Formula COVID vaccines for ages 6 months to 11-years-old and the Moderna Spikevax mRNA 2023-2024 Formula COVID vaccine for ages 12 years and older.  

The Halifax County Health Department is also offering Moderna Spikevax mRNA 2023-2024 Formula COVID vaccine for individuals ages 19 and over who are uninsured or underinsured free of charge through the Bridge Access Program for eligible individuals. 

Call the Halifax County Health Department at 252-583-5021 to schedule an appointment.  

Same day appointments are available on a first come, first served basis.  

Bring a photo ID and insurance card to the appointment.
