Alton Jerome “Jerry” Aycock, Jr., 54, of Roanoke Rapids, died Monday, January 14, 2013 at Halifax Regional Medical Center.
Lois Hedgepeth Hux, 78, died Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Roxboro Nursing Center. Mrs. Hux was born in Halifax Co, one of eleven children of the late Isaac Levi Hedgepeth and the late Dora Warren Hedgepeth. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Weck Closure Systems and during her retirement years volunteered at Durham Regional Hospital. Mrs. Hux was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis F. Hux; and two sisters and three brothers.
